So for the past few weeks Christian has been telling me how excited he was for the Olympics and how worthless he was going to be for the ENTIRE 16 days it is on tv. So the other night we were all sorts of pumped up while we were watching the opening ceremonies. Time and time again I would hear Christian say "Gosh I love the Olympics". Well, I guess I never realized how much he REALLY loved the Olympics until they played the theme song at the end of the opening ceremonies. I looked over at him and he had a smile as big as the Great Wall of China and goose bumps as big as Mt. Everest. Who gets that excited about the Olympics that they get goose bumps?????

In response to your comment on my blog... Lots of water, no sweets, chips, slightly smaller portion sizes, walking, and pilates... and bouncing the baby a lot seemed to help. Sorry, it's nothing special, I hope it helps.
April, I too had no idea that anyone could be that excited about the Olympics! Today at work it's been liking listening/watching ESPN, as Christian has relived all the amazing Olympic moments. Good to know we both have about two more weeks of the Olympics. Although I'm sure you have to deal with it a little more then me! GOOD LUCK!
Who gets goosebumps watching the Olympics you ask?...JOHN BERGER DOES! Today he told me: "It's the best thing ever, it's like how you would feel if you got a whole new closet of clothes and shoes but it lasts for two whole weeks." I swear John & Christian are two of kind. You gotta love them.
Rock On Christian! I guess us In-laws are going to convert these Leydsman's to the Olympics one way or another. I don't believe Tony and I have seen each other since they started and you should see my house. Tony is refusing to watch them. I keep telling him he is missing out big time. They are only on every 4 years. Sweet!!!!!
<-----I'm a dork too!! I almost cried when I watched the opening ceremonies, and each time a U.S. athlete got gold, I almost cried during the medal ceremony. I'm super, SUPER patriotic though. I just love our country. Guess I can relate with Christian. Jeff thinks I'm a loser for getting emotional over it though.
